Annual Homeowners Meeting

Each year, three of the nine CHHA Board positions become vacant. Election of the three new members will be held at the Annual Homeowner’s Meeting on January 14th at the Community Center at 8:00 p.m. Both Lu Ensminger (787-9651) and Mike Townsend (435-4287) are on the nominating committee and are searching for interested candidates. If you are interested in running for the Board or would like to collect proxies for voting purposes:

• Contact Lu or Mike to be added to the ballot.
• Make multiple copies of the blank proxy enclosed on page 18 (at least 50).
• Enlist a neighbor’s help to serve as a witness (nominated individuals, co-owners and spouses are not valid).
• Gather proxies between now and the meeting (one (1) vote per lot).
• Bring the proxies to the Annual Meeting (Instructions are included on the sample proxy on page 17.)

In addition to the election, the 1999 CHHA proposed budget will be presented, committees will report on their 1998 and proposed 1999 activities and candidates for open board positions will introduce themselves. All residents are encouraged to attend.
