Election of New Board Members
On Thursday, January 10th 2002
This is a reminder that the Board of Directors will host the 2002 Annual Homeowners’ Meeting on
Thursday, January 10 th at the Community Center at 7:30 PM. All homeowners are encouraged to attend.
In addition to discussing the approved budget for 2002, each committee will give their annual report.
Four new board members will be elected to fill those terms that will expire and finish one term vacated.
The nominating committee is looking for civic-minded Chantilly Highland residents to run for these
positions.
Please join the Board to learn more about the volunteers who run our Association and hear about the
plans for the next year.
Interested candidates should:
- Contact a member of the nominating committee to be added to the ballot. They are David Howlett (703-689-
9840), John Tandler (703-709-8281), and Bill Jeffrey (703-689-3408). Write-in candidates will be accepted at the
Homeowner's Meeting.
- Make multiple copies of the blank proxy enclosed on page 5 (past candidates have collected 50 or more).
- Proxies must be signed by the homeowner. Renters may only sign if the homeowner has granted the renter a proxy.
- Gather proxies between now and the meeting (one vote per lot).
- Bring the proxies to the Annual Meeting on January 10, 2002.
