Any work which changes the exterior appearance of your home requires an Exterior Alteration Request (“EAR”) form to be submitted. Please refer to the ACC Guidelines for some rules for the community.
The Architectural Control Committee (“ACC”) is comprised of volunteers and therefore cannot dedicate full time effort to reviewing applications. Please allow at least 30 days for a response.
Applications are reviewed in the order they are received. The ACC cannot accelerate the process because of pressure from the contractors or for any other reason.
You can download a copy of the Exterior Alteration Request Form here. Fill out the application with a full description of your project. Sign it and collect your neighbors signatures, signifying that you have informed them of the projects. Please include photos and/or diagrams relevant to the modifications you are planning to make.

There are 2 ways to submit your application package:
- Email: for fastest response, email complete application package to chhaacc@chha.org
- Drop off at the community center (3225 Kinross Circle). There is a mail slot to the right of the main door.
You will receive a confirmation email in response to your submitted EAR. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 5 business days of submission, email us directly.
The result of the Architectural Control Committee’s evaluation of your EAR will be sent to the primary email address on file. That email will be coming from “chahighl@ciramail.com“. If you do not receive a result email within 30 days, check your SPAM folder, or email us directly.
